Social Networking

Having chosen to be abstinent it can be difficult to meet and socialise with others who have also chosen abstinence so First Care provide a social network which involves regular evenings and days of activities along with a drop in service. This service is provided at our Gravelly Hill project and ALL users will need to be abstinent from all substances. Regular random drug testing and breathalysing ensure the project stays clean, We cannot accept any service users or visitors to the Gravelly Hill project who have not been abstinent for at least 30 days. Anyone who gives a positive sample will be asked to leave the project immediately.

We do work with clients who are working towards becoming abstinent, we hold a number of support groups, workshops and activities for this client group. Our outreach service holds surgeries across the city - please call our office to find out where our next surgeries will be held.
